Careers @ CVEA: Careers in the NHS

We were delighted to welcome back to our Academy Performance in Education. Our Year 8 students took part in an engaging 1-hour interactive theatre presentation, looking at options for future career routes within the NHS and how these can lead to a fulfilling future for all.

The show was an informative and fun introduction to post 16 & 18 pathways, focusing on the different career and training options available in the NHS and the importance of planning for a successful future. The performance examined the importance of GCSEs, Post-16 options, Post-18 options and staying on in education until 18.

During the session students learnt about:

The wide range of careers and opportunities within the NHS, highlighting non-clinical as well as clinical roles.
The NHS constitutional values and the importance of patient care.
The many routes they can take post-16, and how these different routes can all lead to fulfilling careers with the NHS.
