Children's Mental Health Week

This February staff and students are taking part in Children's Mental Health Week which is supported by the mental health charity Place2Be. Within the academy students are being invited to take part in various activities to support positive mental health. The attached document provides further information about how you can support your child to look after their mental health, or you can access a range of resources and additional information about the charity via this link: Wellbeing resources for families | Place2Be.

In addition to the events, we are hosting within the academy, we have created a range of activities which students and families could complete at home to help take care of your mental health and wellbeing. Why not complete your own gratitude journal where you reflect on at least one thing every day that you are grateful for. You could use the attached sheet as a template, or you could use it as inspiration to design your own. As well as activities to complete you will find slides containing information about different mental health conditions and links for where to access further support.
