Discover Durham University

Ten of our year 10 students visited Durham University. The event was an opportunity for students to find out more about Durham University and the courses that can be studied there.

Students were given a tour of the main campus before taking part in a session on goal setting. After lunch, there were taster session with two of the university's professors. The first mini-lecture on Theology got students thinking about some of life' Big Questions'. In the second taster, which was in English Literature, students discussed why people read and what happens when people read.

A really informative and enjoyable visit.
