Language Detectives trip

In January, pupils who took part in the Language Detectives programme attended their celebration event in Durham. Everyone had a fabulous time sampling tapas, attending a lecture at Durham Uni on Hispanic characters in English language films, we had a Languages at Uni presentation and then a seminar with our student guide. We finished the day being presented with certificates from the Deputy Head of Languages at the University for graduating from the Language Detectives programme, which was a 6 week after-school programme students attended here at Castle View Enterprise Academy.
