Oxford University Visit

A group of year 10 students visited St Anne's College, Oxford University for a two day residential.

Students were able to get the full student experience by staying in the halls of residence and taking part in taster seminars with university professors. The seminars covered Earth Science where students were able to get hands-on with fossils and an English seminar which focused on renaissance poetry. Students also participated in student life workshops where they were able to find out about what subjects they can study at university, student finance and university clubs and societies.

The visit also included a scavenger hunt which enabled students to explore the historic city of Oxford and a visit to the Natural History Museum which saw students get close up with some of the exhibits.
