Sports Academy Tour 2023 - Manchester

Mr Parker, Mr Marshall and Mr Hodgson were lucky enough to take 21 students on a 3-day sports tour to Manchester last month, where as a group we were able to enjoy some fantastic experiences.

Day 1 consisted of a trip to Old Trafford to watch Lancashire Vs Durham in the T20 cricket, followed by a team meal in a local restaurant.

Day 2 then saw us begin with a football coaching session in the morning, a trip to the National Football Museum all before heading to a local Manchester secondary school to play a football match. We rounded off day 2 with 18 holes at mini golf and a trip to the Trafford Centre.

The last day started off with a quiz in the hotel reception, a tour of the Etihad stadium, home of Manchester City and all finished with a game of laser quasar and some shopping in the Trafford Centre.

It was a fantastic trip and memories to last a lifetime!
