Year 7 Author Experience

Noah's Gold - Frank Cottrell-Boyce

Our year 7 students took part in the Authors into Schools event by Seven Stories to bring inspirational authors and illustrators to our school.

Frank Cottrell Boyce is a British screenwriter and novelist. He has scripted the Oscar-nominated Hilary and Jackie and the Danny Boyle picture Millions. One of his books, Sputnick's Guide to life on Earth is currently in production with Dreamworks.

His new book, Noah's Gold is packed with mystery, adventure and laughs.

Our students were able to ask him questions: why did you become an author? What education do you need to become an author? What inspires you to keep writing?

One student said: 'it was really great to hear his advice, I would like to be a writer too and he has helped me'
