Activ8 session: Padel

On Tuesday 3rd February, a group of year 8 students had a fantastic time attending the Activ8 Sunderland Padel event at True Padel in Castletown. The students thoroughly enjoyed the session, taking part in fun and engaging activities while mixing with students from other schools. For most, it was their first experience of padel, and they quickly learnt the basic rules and skills of the game with support from Mr Hodgson and Miss Cappellar who demonstrated how to play. The event was a great opportunity to try a new sport, build confidence, and enjoy being active in a new (local) environment. Thanks also to Miss Othman and Miss Waddell for coming along and offering their support.
