Cadets Competition Shoot

Yesterday our cadets took part in an annual shooting competition. We took note of some of the other contingents running through marksmanship principles, using their own weapon systems, or having a dedicated shooting coach.
After our quick debrief we moved on to some laser shotgun, which every one of the cadets excelled at. They swiftly moved onto meeting our affiliated fusilier detachment.
After lunch we part took in the last two competitions. First up was the Surtees Sheild, which used the same target rifle as the morning shoot. The cadets feeling more relaxed and with full bellies entered into this shoot a lot more confident and it showed more so afterwards.
Lastly we took part in the Summers Bowl competition, which was on a different weapon system, air rifle.
The cadets put on an amazing show of grace and pride throughout the day and it just couldn't be done without us volunteering our time to help them progress and develop the skills.
